Quarries and Aggregate Mining

NEA provides a range of services to the aggregate industry to address natural environmental issues during the application process.

Our services include pre-consultation meetings with Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF), the preparation of Natural Environment Level 1 and 2 Technical reports and defending applications at Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) hearings. NEA has a depth of experience in this sector and can provide expert advice on complicated natural environment issues arising from alvars, fisheries, loggerhead shrike, Blanding’s turtle, gray ratsnake and other Species at Risk. NEA can also provide direction on final end use and rehabilitation plans as well as long-term monitoring programs for Species at Risk.
