Butternut Trees Health Assessments (MNRF Certification)
Butternut trees are found throughout Ontario however are listed as a Species at Risk (SAR). This designation is due to a canker that is endangering tree health and causing increased mortality.
Our MNRF certified butternut health assessors can conduct the necessary field assessments, complete data forms and submit Butternut Health Assessment (BHA) reports to ensure compliance with the ESA. NEA has extensive experience with identifying butternuts and hybrid varieties in the field. We can also help clients throughout the process of compensation and protection of this SAR species.
